Well, I have come up with some blogging time. Crazy. We've had an eventful month around here, with going to Phoenix, Elijah's birthday, and a trip to Kingsport and one to Birmingham. It seems like whenever we go somewhere for the weekend the week seems really short. It generally takes me(and the kids, who usually come back sleep deprived) a couple days to recover. Elijah and Jed loved the trip to the grandparents' house. Elijah got to play outside with Peepaw for hours. Jed had a great time, too, but then Jed is always ridiculously happy no matter what he's doing.

Elijah would stay outside outside all day long if we let him. Well, he might come inside to watch Boz the green bear, Elmo, or Bob the Builder and eat raisins a couple of times:) If you've never seen Boz, those are some cute little Christian DVDs.

It's getting harder to go somewhere with Elijah that involves a longer car trip because he doesn't nap well in the car anymore. He behaves just fine, but he'll only sleep for maybe 30 minutes or so. We've tried leaving at nap time and after nap time and neither worked out too well. Let me know if you have any good ideas...

We had fun in Alabama this past weekend, too. We stayed with Mary Lynn and Jason(Andy's sister and her husband) and went to the Alabama vs Ole Miss game on Saturday while Jason's mom and dad(God bless them) watched Jed and Elijah for us. They had the best time. The game was a little stressful because Alabama once again forgot how to play football in the second half and only barely managed to hang on to a win after a big lead at halftime. But hey, we'll take an ugly win over a loss any day:)

Jedidiah is going to be 7 months on Saturday. He was 20 pounds(9 kg) and 27 inches(68 cm) at his 6 months check. I finally started him on cereal a couple weeks ago. He loves it (after switching to oatmeal-he didn't care for rice). Elijah went to his 2 year well check and he is a little over 30 pounds(13.6 kg) and 37 inches(94 cm). Enjoy the pictures!
